Wyllym de Byllyngsleye (senior) was appointed the King’s Clerke for the County of Gloucester in 1306. This appointment was confirmed the following year by Edward II. Dates would suggest this William was his son.
He became possessed of an estate at Halon in the 35th year of Edward III, (1362), and died there in the 14th year of Henry IV. (1381)
